Together with other consortium partners (Gates Ventures, AFIDEP (Malawi), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana), University of Rwanda (Rwanda), CREHPA (Nepal), India Team (Public Health Foundation of India) and Youth advisors from the different countries), the EVIHDAF team participated in the ASHER consortium meeting held in Lilongwe, Malawi.

These 3 days meeting, provided room:

  • To refine and align on the primary drivers of success for improving ASRHR, including the prevention and management of unintended teenage pregnancies and reduction of ASFR in each country, synthesizing across all research activities.
  • To brainstorm and discuss each high-level story and narrative, focused on key research questions.
  • To align plans for key outputs across partners, including country reports and narrative process, peer-reviewed journal articles, cross-country synthesis framework, in-country validation workshops, and further dissemination and impact opportunities.

During this meeting, participants equally had the opportunity to learn more about other countries key findings, discuss similarities and differences between countries, and share opportunities for results dissemination and impact.
